Making the fun tissue paper crafts

On day four of my wonderful journey in Seattle I had to wake up at 6:00 in the morning after I had went to bed at about 12:00! Can you guess why I had to wake up so early? The title and pictures will give you a clue. Well,  you probably guessed the second thing we did, the Ivy Cutting, but first we went to my cousins friends art desplay. She mayjored in graphic arts. We went to this little building where other kids art was desplayed including Leah's, JoEllen's, my cousins, friend. After we took a look at Leah's work we went on to the second part of my day the Ivy Cutting! You may have no idea what I mean by this, but some of you might. The Ivy Cutting was a seromny that was done for the seniors at SPU (Seattle Pacfic University) every year. When each person gets their ivy cut it repersents you leaving and taking your seprate journey. A parade came by while we were wating for the president of the college to cut everyones ivy. Once all the ivy was cut we went to go get some food at the tabels near by full of fruits, vegabals, and cookies! JoEllens friends left and we went to this coffee shop that JoEllen had made a sculpsure for! I got some hot choclate at the coffee shop and imired that sculpsure! She made the sculpsure out of balls and coffee filters. Another hour drive! Fanlly when we got home we started working on the decorations for the graduation party. My cousin Amanda told us about an easy, colorful, cute decortions to make from tissue paper. First, you buy the tissue paper. You take eight sheets of the paper and fold them like a fan or accordian style. Then you get some wire and twist it around the middle of the tissue paper after being folded like a  fan. When those few steps are done you take sissors and cut the ends of the tissue paper in a curve or spike. Start carefully pulling each layer of tissue paper apart from then fan until it's nice and fluffy and looks like the examples above. After each of us made a couple of those we went to bed. Anotheer long day goes by.

Mount St. Helens!!!!!!!

Hello again! This is day 3 of my Seattle adventure. By the way I didn't post day two because we just stayed home and rested while all the cousins were at school and Aunt Lori and Uncle Brent were both at work. Well on the 3rd day Aunt Lori had to go to work till 1:00 and them came home. Until 1:00 me and grandma went on a walk to enjoy the nice day! There were beautiful flowers all over the place! Our walk was really pretty and a little freaky because you never know when that deer is going to pop out and scare you even though their harmless. When Aunt Lori got home we took a long trip down to a Mount st. Helens resort! When we got there we went through the museum and then watched a video about it. It was so interesting!!!!! After we were finished there we drove another hour to our next destination even closer to the volcano. We were almost looking inside the volcano. My Aunt told me she watched the hole explosion before they went to church that morning. She had some great stories. They had lived in Westland, Oregon. They could see the volcano from the kitchen window and ash was spread all over their yard covering the land in a thick, white blanket. We drove all the way home and by that time we had dinner and went to bed. It was a long trip. My Aunt had told me that everything was at least an hour away! I was suprisingly, if thats how you spell it, ready to go to bed!

Looking out from Red Robin

Hey everyone, I told you that I was going to post abouts my trip.  It took my Aunt Lori a while to get to the airport because she lives in Chahalis and the airport was in Seattle witch is 60 minutes away. After we finally got picked up we went to the market. I love markets. Going to the market was one of the first things I blogged about. Their were fish, cookies, flowers, jewlery, and much, much more. When we were finished with the market we went to the Curiosity Shop witch is CRAZY! I even saw two old mummies that I didn't get a picture of. After we read about the mummies and shriken heads we went to dinner. We went to dinner at Red Robin. Just your standard resturant, but we were looking out on Puget Sound if thats how you spell it. Finally we grabbed some starbucks and went home to Aunt Lori's house. I visted with my Uncle and cousins. then at about 10 o'clock I went to bed with my grandma.

Magnificent Toes!

First, I have to say it is June 6 and I haven't blogged since May 20 and I'm sorry but I have some cool blog posts comming up so stay tunned. Now that I got that over I got my nails doen today! At the same placeI did last time I  blogged about my nails. I got them done because I'm going to Seattle to go to my cousins graduation/graduation party. I got them done at Chloe's Nails. Green and orange are very summerish colors and guess what my favorite colors are? Yep! Orange and green!!!!!!!!! Those were my inspirations! Then I was thinking of having then do plaid with those colors but the only person who can do good plais is my aunt Judy so I just fot a flower because I knew they did good flowers from previous experiences. I would definatley recommend Chloes's Nails to anyone who likes massage chairs, warm cloths on thier legs, leg massages, soaking their feet in warm water, and plenty more great things. Well see you in Seattle!
